Trees of Righteousness

How many of you have planted fruit trees in your yard? What good would those trees be if they didn’t produce fruit in due season? How would you feel about it? Would you be disappointed? Would you think your labor was in vain?
The Bible says in Isaiah 61:3 KJV, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” This verse tells us we are to be called trees of righteousness, which means that righteousness ought to be seen by others.
Are you producing fruits of righteousness? How about the fruits of the spirit?
Trees are made to produce and to be useful to mankind. Trees supply many articles which are most useful in commerce — such as food, clothing, and medicine, according to https://biblehub.com These things, as products in which men trade, tend to the enrichment and general benefit of society. Trees yield timber, with which our houses are built and our furniture is made. Palms yield edible fruits and a great quantity of oil.- https://biblehub.com
You see, we are supposed to be glorifying God by producing fruits of righteousness. However, we can’t do this on our own. We must be drawing strength from the root, Jesus Christ, and yielding to the Holy Spirit on a moment-by-moment basis. See John 15:1-5 KJV for more on this.
Psalm 1 gives us a clear pathway to blessing, which I wrote about in two blogs back in July titled, “Pathway to Blessing-Part I and II”; however, Psalm 1:3 KJV says of the one who is in Jesus Christ and yielding to the Holy Spirit, ” And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” The tree spoken of here must be planted by rivers of water. The Holy Spirit is depicted as water in John 7: 37-39 KJV.
Are you a tree planted by the rivers of water? If so, keep abiding in Christ and you will bring forth fruit in due season. If you’re not sure, please contact us at christianlifecoachtools.com and BOOK NOW a free Meet and Greet to find out for sure.
